Each week, we're excited to have you join us for a magical adventure into the world of books and storytelling. Story time is all about nurturing a lifelong love of reading while celebrating the richness of Vietnamese and English languages and cultures.

WHO WE SERVE
Happy 5 is a public education program geared towards Vietnamese parents, grandparents and care providers in our community focused on positive parenting through the lens of child development in the first five years.
WHAT WE DO
During Story Time, our leaders develop stories that include shapes, colors, and numbers to help children develop different parts of their brains. This safe and friendly environment will encourage children to socialize with their peers and make friends, which will help build their social skills. They will be allowed to participate in arts and crafts, which will help hone their five motor skills (fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving, personal-social, and communication).
WHY IT MATTERS
Our innovative curriculum combines both Vietnamese and American perspectives, encourages participants to bridge the cultural gaps, and empowers parents to adopt safer, more appropriate parenting techniques.
