Homelessness Prevention (FT, Non-Exempt)

ICAN is seeking a bilingual and bicultural English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese Case Manager for their Homelessness Prevention System (HPS) Program. The role involves supporting families at risk of homelessness through financial assistance, temporary case management, and connecting them to community resources. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented, experienced in case management, and sensitive to the needs of low-income families. They must also possess strong communication skills and be able to work flexibly and creatively with a growth mindset.

The HPS Case Manager’s responsibilities include screening, assessing, and conducting intakes for prospective participants, enrolling families into the HPS program with all necessary documentation, and providing temporary financial assistance. Additionally, they will offer strength-based case management to help families gain or maintain permanent housing and connect them to other community resources. This role is crucial in preventing or ending homelessness for low-income families.
