WHAT IS ICAN HELP?

ICAN Help is a charity initiative that responded to the COVID-19 crisis in Vietnam. With the support of our community, we provided immediate relief through essential gifts and medical supplies, aiming to bring love and hope to those affected during the challenging times.

WHO WE SERVED

ICAN Help Relief Team focuses on aiding the people of Vietnam during the COVID-19 pandemic. The assistance is directed towards impoverished individuals, needy children, blind and disabled people, and medical personnel who are significantly impacted by the ongoing crisis.

WHAT WE DID

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam, ICAN has organized relief efforts to provide essential resources such as medicine, medical equipment, food, and gratitude gifts. The organization has distributed thousands of gifts worth nearly $30,000 USD, and sent 12,000 N95 medical masks to support medical personnel. ICAN aims to address the urgent needs of those affected by the pandemic, including unemployed workers, overcrowded hospitals, and disrupted supply chains.

WHY IT MATTERED

ICAN Help is crucial in providing immediate relief to those affected by the COVID-19 crisis in Vietnam. ICAN's efforts address urgent needs, from supporting unemployed workers to aiding overcrowded hospitals. The collective support is essential to bringing love and hope to those in need, helping them navigate through the challenging circumstances of the pandemic in Vietnam.

OUR IMPACT

Over the past month, thanks to the direct organization of Master Thich Chon Tinh, ICAN has been able to provide thousands of gratitude gifts, worth nearly $30,000 USD, to our impoverished compatriots, needy children, blind and disabled people- who have been significantly impacted by the terrible pandemic that humanity is facing. Recently, ICAN also sent 12,000 N95 medical masks to Vietnam to aid medical personnel who have been working nonstop for almost two years with limited supplies.

OUR STORY

During the initiative, ICAN was able to make significant emergency donations. However, those numbers were minuscule in comparison to those who are still in need amidst a life-and-death battle with the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam. Those who work in factories are at a higher risk of contracting the virus but must continue working in order to provide for their families. But, by continuing their work, factories have been forced to shut down, and these workers have become unemployed. And as the daily cases continue to increase, it is difficult to find work anywhere else, and many are struggling to make ends meet.

In addition, the hospitals in Saigon and in the Southern provinces of Vietnam are overcrowded and underfunded as the amount of sick, poor patients keeps increasing. The supply chains have been disrupted, and they cannot receive the resources to decrease the amount of cases. These doctors and patients are in dire need of your help.

The ICAN Charity Association, call on our friends and benefactors to accompany us in aiding our Vietnamese compatriots to overcome this difficult crisis. ICAN will do its best to bring your love and hope to every one of our compatriots in need at home.
