WHAT IS ADAPT?

Funded by the Pacific Links Foundation, ADAPT is their counter-trafficking initiative that launched in 2005. It operates in regions of Vietnam that are most vulnerable to human trafficking.

WHO WE SERVE

The Pacific Links Foundation serves girls, women, their families, and communities who are at risk of human trafficking in Vietnam.

WHAT WE DO

The Pacific Links Foundation leads counter-trafficking efforts by providing access to education, shelter and reintegration services, and enabling new economic opportunities. It operates in regions most vulnerable to human trafficking, starting in the Mekong Delta in the South at the Vietnam-Cambodia border, expanding to the North at the Vietnam-China border and throughout Vietnam.

WHY IT MATTERS

The work of the Pacific Links Foundation matters because human trafficking is a significant issue in regions of Vietnam due to factors like extreme poverty, high unemployment, and porous borders. By providing education, shelter, reintegration services, and economic opportunities, the foundation helps to reduce the vulnerability of girls and women to labor and sexual exploitation.
