Mid-Autum Festival - Tet Trung Thu More than a thousand of children visited ICAN's booth on Tet Trung Thu Day in downtown San Jose, on September 2006. ICAN provided lantern workshop and animal balloon in this annual event. More than 30 ICAN's volunteers worked tirelessly 10 hours to show children how to make paper laterns from scratch, and to hand out animal balloon. The event attracted many young voluteers from high schools to come to help.

Vesak Day & Children Fair ICAN joined hands with Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center to organize a celebration of Vesak-The Birth of Lord Buddha on May 13, 2006. ICAN provided a fun day with variety of activities from lantern workshops, flower workshops, games, etc. with helps from young volunteers such as Trung, Jasmine, Michelle, ThuQuyen and may others. It had gradually became a tradition in San Jose for family to gather to pray for world peace, and to enjoy a day together in Vesak Day.
Hat Cho Tuoi Tho 4 - Fundraising concert The annual fundraising concert was held at Campbell Heritage Theater, Campbell - California on March 11, 2006. ICAN's quality show as well the good cause behind it once again drew supports from a thousand audience, sponsors, media, and the community. It was known that tickets were sold out before the show. The fund raised was used to support various programs in Vietnam and San Jose.
